On February 12, 2009 we brought home three Rhode Island Red pullets that had hatched on either the 10th or 11th in Fresno, California.  

Their brooder is a multi-walled cardboard seafood box to provide insulation with warmth provided by a red heat lamp.  The temperature in the box is kept constant using one of the theatrical lighting controllers we make.
